Department of Computer Science

 

The Computer Science Department at university of Tehran is one of the nation oldest and most well known graduate centers is computer science

 

This department is established in 1971 as a first computer science section in Iran, inside the school of mathematics of university of TehranUp to 1986, many B.Sc student graduated from this department. With a 12 years delay, this department of computer science restated the training of student in two disciplines B.Sc in 1998 and M.Sc in 2001.The academic members of this department include one professor, two associate professor, 3 assistant professor and two lecturers

 

This department accept student in three programs B.Sc , M.SC and Ph.D.These are four research laboratories in this department, Bio Lab, DNA Lab, Parallel Algorithm Lab, Quantum computing labThe members of this labs include the academic members the Ph.D. students and M.Sc studentsRegularly seminars are presented in the Corresponding research field.c student can attend in the preparing classes for ACM and also can be a member of the Robocop-team.Each years two different teams of student attend in the international competitions ACM and Robocop. Since, our teams have gained very good scores
